The Station Agent

Last night, I watched The Station Agent for my Thursday night movie. Thanks for the recommendation, Sadie. What a nice slice-of-life film.

I think Joe is one of my favorite movie characters that I've recently seen.

I love movies that make me smile.

Levi, I'm so glad you saw this movie! I can't believe it didn't get more attention. Did you just LOVE the characters? I loved the little girl at the train tracks, Cleo?
This little community just wouldn't let Finbar slip through the cracks like he was so determined to do!
Joe was an awesome character. I hope we see more of that actor as well as Dinklage. Dinklage tells more of a story with his expressions than he does with his lines. He's got that 'subtle-thing' goin' on.

Finbar McBride:You said you weren't going to talk to me if I sat here, Joe.
Joe Oramas: I haven't said anything in like twenty minutes.
[Fin checks his pocket watch]
Finbar McBride: Nine.
Joe Oramas: You timed me?
Finbar McBride: Mm-hmm.
Joe Oramas: That's cold, bro.

That was probably my favorite exchange of the movie.

Dinklage did a great job too. Super-subtle.

Hey Bro-Is that the mom from "Pieces of April?" I liked that actress. This looks like a good movie, I have seen so many dumb movies lately, its time for a winner.
